THE IAEA PROGRAM
IAEA is a one-year training program for audio engineering located at BRC Audio Productions in Kansas City. We provide an immersive and concentrated hands-on educational experience for those who want to begin a career in any field involving audio/music technology.
IAEA consists of 13 courses, lab activities, and professional apprenticeship, culminating in a digital portfolio of work, preparing you for a wide variety of starting positions in the audio/visual/music industry field or to go into business for yourself.
Music Recording, Mixing and Mastering
Pro Tools HDX and native systems
Participation in professional recording sessions and opportunities for students to generate and lead sessions
Editing and basic mixing principles with industry standard plugins
Advanced mixing concepts including automation, drum replacement, pitch correction, advanced editing, and more.
Mixing using analog our classic Solid State Logic SL 6040 E Series
Mastering music products, culminating in the audio engineering portfolio
